~*JULIE'S BIO*~- In high school I was a Boaz High School cheerleader and a softball player. It wasn't until my junior year in high school, when I took a trip to New York, where I became interested in the art world. After seeing the Broadway musical "Rent" sitting in the second row it became clear to me that my calling in life was to do something in the entertainment field. I came back my senior year in high school, dropped the sports and got involved with community Theatre. Those experiences have led me to where I am today. :) Currently, I am a senior at The University Of Alabama with a major in Audio/Video Production and minor in Theatre. Now I spend all of my time working in the UA Theatre & Dance Department and gaining production experience. Some of my favorite things I've done while in college has been to: work for ESPN on Gameday, assistant stage manage several UA Theatre productions, and run Sound for UA's Dance shows. I was also chosen to be Assistant Director for "A Christmas Carol" where I was part of the cast. My first and favorite Theatre experience was being cast as a dancer in "Guys & Dolls." I spend a lot of my free time taking roadtrips and traveling with my twin sister, Joy. I also love going to concerts, especially those of my favorite artists. Currently, I am writing my first television script. I want to be a producer one day and hopefully something will come of it.

Wilderness', 'As You Like It'. I also ran Lights for 'Alabama Reportary Dance Theatre'and ran Sound for 'Death Of A Salesman.' I have also been cast in these plays: 'Guys & Dolls,' 'The Wizard Of Oz,' 'Camelot,' 'A Christmas Carol' 'Cinderella' Currently I am working at 'UA's Center For Public Television.' Now I am more focused on the production side, trying to gain all the experiences I can get my hands on! After graduation I hope to move to New York or Los Angeles to further my production career. In my free time I enjoy traveling and hearing live music. For the past few summers I have traveled to Europe, visiting a total of eight countries. (England, Ireland, Wales, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, and Belgium.) I also getaway to New York, Nashville and Atlanta whenever possible. This is my escape. I live in the country so I enjoy escaping into the magical cities. Live Music - well, I'm speechless..this has changed my life in so many ways! It was only two years ago when I started going to hear live music regularly. Over the past year I have met some of the most incredible people ever. They have inspired me in so many ways including learning to play the guitar, which is something I have always wanted to do. So maybe one day I can play alongside all those artists I adore!
