Tequila baby, all the way!

3) What song is most personal to you off your album?
Unglued & Little Lies

4) What artists have inspired you the most?
Patty Griffin's songwriting and soulful voice. Madonna and the her work ethic, control of her career, and stage show variety. Scott Weiland's(Stone Temple Pilots) stage presence. Chris Cornell's voice and songwriting. Beth Hart's honest songwriting and heartfelt performance on stage. Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, and Linda Rondstat. Tom Bukovac, my guitar player/coproducer/cowriter from Nashville.

5)What's been your career highlight?
Playing in front of 9,000 people in Nashville opening for John Hiatt. Singing the National Anthem at the Washington DC Capitol's Hockey Game,and playing the Kennedy Center in Washington.

6)What has been your favorite memory as an artist?
Touring in Portugal and Brazil when I was singing with Fernando Periera, a portuguese recording artist.In preproduction- before going into record my first CD...when my songs suddenly, with the band's incredible interpretation, became real songs thatI was proud of.
what's the best thing about being out in L.A?
The incredible weather and healthy lifestyle(no smoking inside anywhere!)..oh, and the great parties. Also the incredible friendships I've made here.

7) Is there something or anything you miss not being in Nashville?
My band.

8) What kind and how many guitars do you play? Do you play any other musical instruments? any intentions..if not?
I play a little teeny bit of piano...
Guitars: electric Ibanez (Tallman) and my '57 Martin Acoustic (018) small bodied. I also have a Takamine black cutaway acoustic. I just gave my brother in Kansas my old Mustang Fender Strat and a 10yr old Takamine acoustic.

Guitar pedals I use: ibanez tubescreamer, DOD Phasor, Big Muff distortion,Boss Chorus.

9) What has been the coolest gig that you have got to play?
The Voodoo Music Fest two years in a row with Counting Crows, Live, & STP.

10) Where do you like to go to escape?
Hilo, Hawaii to swim with the wild dolphins.
Esalen, this resort(institute)up in Big Sur.
